I do not know what changed on the Windows side

Well, apparently this brought up the whole topic: Upgrade to 2022.

but/and I tried changing the ADDMFS's OPTION part from *DFT to a detailed form and include a specific suid I got from the Windows guy, (found no way to specify guid) .

I don't know what a SUID is in context of NFS.

I also added ver4 of NFS like so:

My thinking was to restrict IBM i to connect only e. g. via NFSv3. I just guess that this might have changed from the former Windows version?

I'm not a Windows guy, so I'm just shooting into the darkness here.

File are created in the Windows directory but access is denied when trying to edit the authorities on one of the files I got "The Permissions on TEST_AAA_01.xlsx are incorrectly ordered, which may cause some entries to be ineffective. to order the permissions correctly click Reorder" However, clicking the Reorder buttons and saving, fails with "Access is denied"

By "click" I presume you're doing this on the Windows side?

All in all, this sounds very strange.

I suggest you google for the error message to get more clues.

If everything else fails, you might need to migrate from NFS to CIFS/SMB.

:wq! PoC
