Well, I tried to be helpful, and what I've shown is known to work, agnostic to IBM i releases, and free from possible extra licensing fees to generate PDFs.

Btw, the PDF generation component of InfoPrint server on IBM i seems to be Java based. I don't like Java because of its resource consumption and other inefficiencies. But that's just my opinion.
