Hello Don,

I have a requirement to send a large file using httpapir4

I found that you can specify O_LARGEFILE on the open request.

But I can't find anything that tells me what issues this could cause.

Somewhat more memory is allocated because the byte counter for positioning within the file allows bigger values.

Has anyone used this option and were there any issues ?

Not on IBM i, but there were none. I expect the same outcome on IBM i.

It also appears that if this option is used then any file size could be opened ?

As far as I'm aware, yes.

:wq! PoC
