Hi Rob,
The 8150 code has been the most common call we take for all of our
supported machines. It means that a paired controller is not working
correctly. Depending on the generation that might be because somebody
changed the profile and one pair of a HA pair is missing or the cache card
is missing/inop for the older 5582 cards or stuff like that.
From Power8 onwards, with the supercap controllers it usually means that
one of the controllers is disabling its cache and therefore brings
everything down to DEGRADED status.
IIRC the card that raised the issue is the one to be replaced and all will
be fine, but you could also have cabling issues between them or other
things.
In short, something your hardware provider must diagnose and fix, probably
by replacing a card.
