Re: IBM MFA QR code

When you setup MFA, you should have gotten recovery codes that can be used in case your MFA device changed.

Using the recovery code, you should be able to log in, deactivate MFA and reactivate it with a new QR code to scan.

Now that said, I’m looking at the folder that I save recovery codes and can’t find one for IBM, which is troubling.

There is a line one needs to draw that says what’s the acceptable risk. Signing on to get fixes etc. that are authenticated against model/type and serial number does not seem to fall into the same category as a banking transaction.
