Admittedly, I haven't looked at any of the current IBM i AV products,
but I'm wondering if they even have the ability to monitor the file
system and scan file creates & changes.

I know clamav requires specific functionality to be in the linux kernel
to support scan on access.

I use clamav to the mailing list server to scan all incoming messages
for viruses.  But that's invoked by the mail server (using milter api's).
