One reason Patrik, is sometimes the problem is localized. Rob, I had no issue whatsoever with the website for case management, therefore it was a local issue as opposed to a systemic one.

Another really good reason is IBM monitors this list (and others) and while those folks that watch this list may not be directly responsible for the web site in question, they often times know who is, and send the appropriate messages internally to get things fixed, sometimes rather quickly. Witness the typo error in the latest RPG documentation that just came out. When it was pointed out on this list, it was corrected within the same business day, because IBM (many folks from different parts) monitor the goings on.

While sometimes tedious, those messages are worth the effort.

Hello James,

Tried from two other *MACHINES* (my own personal Meerkat Linux box, and my own personal Chromebook). "Open a Case" takes me to a sign-on page, then a 2-factor authentication, and as soon as it comes back from 2-factor, I get a 503 page.

I don't understand why people increasingly complain about misbehaving IBM web services in this group.

Please ask IBM to fix their stuff. We can't help!

:wq! PoC
