I was hoping I could see the RRN of the record being sent. So if there are
100 records to be sent and the current record is at 90, then I know I would
have 90% complete and 10 records to go.

It's as good as you are going to get but keep in mind it could also be
wildly off too.
As to seeing the line speed that's best done at the switch/firewall. If
there is some monitoring software you could use that.

Check the file sizes on both systems. The size ratio could be comparedto

If 75% of the file is sent in 24 hours then 24 / .75 = 32 hours total.
- 24 = 8 hours remaining.

Does anyone know how to calculate the remaining time/bytes on a file
transfer?
I am FTP'ing a 185Gb to a remote system and it has been copying for
listthan 24 hours. I need to be able to estimate the remaining time of thewhen
copy.
The only information I have is the size of the file and the I/O count
I display the open files for the job.--
Can I see somewhere how many bytes per minute are being copied?
TIA, Darryl Freinkel.
