So, each time I've had to deal with overlay files it seems there is a new
way to add them to system.

My admin recently updated to the newest navigator for i. Previous
instructions I had were to use the AFP Manger in navigator for i to upload
the overlay file. Digging through the new version I can't seem to locate
an AFP Manager. Was it removed or just more difficult to find? If it was
removed, is there some new function/process to add overlay files?

This page is dated just from November, but seems to give directions for
the old navigator for i.

I tried following the process on that page to ftp the file as a possible
alternative. However I always get "501 Unknown extension in database file
name" when trying to 'put' the file. I created the FILE(QGPL/AFPRES) just
as it suggests.
If anyone can point me how to get to the new AFP Manager I'd appreciate
it.

Thanks
Shane
