It works fine for PAGSEGs. If your overlay is only on the front of a sheet, you might be able to use AFPSRC. If you specify the overlay in the PRTF create command, then, no, you need the overlay, probably.

I tried following the process on that page to ftp the file as a possible
alternative. However I always get "501 Unknown extension in database file
name" when trying to 'put' the file. I created the FILE(QGPL/AFPRES) just
as it suggests.
If anyone can point me how to get to the new AFP Manager I'd appreciate
it.
