Another consideration is the Advanced Job Scheduler which I believe can
do this. It has many other benefits as well.
It is a one time charge only and after that it's covered by normal SWMA.
I didn't realize that. That does make it more attractive in terms of
cost. Attractive *enough* for cash-strapped departments? That would
depend on the specific price and the scheduling needs of the

seems to me that AJS adoption is quite low. I suspect that IBM would
make more money by making it standard on all systems and charging a
little more for all systems.
