Hi, James,

Open the old CA Console configuration screens on the old WinXP box, and then open the new iACS on your Mac, and just copy (manually, look at XP, then type it into iACS) the config. parameters for setting up the console,  that should be a "good start."

iACS also supports that nice little virtual control front panel ... ;-)

Hmm, maybe I understood his request wrong, then.

Actually, at this point, I'm leaning towards just getting the
installed-but-not-configured iACS on my iMac talking to the Lan Console
Ethernet on the E4A.

Our E4A is configured as a LAN Console box, and because of the small
size of our shop, we do not have the Console Ethernet plugged into a
separate isolated network.

The very old CA LAN Console client on a very old WinDoze XP box on one
of the "swing" desks in my office can connect (but the virtual front
panel, as I recall, is inexplicably broken).

That's about all I know at the moment.
