The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.

David,
I would like to understand your "use case" for this request. What problem(s) are you trying to solve?
In addition to the documentation for each command, including the on-line help text, CPF and OS/400 and IBMi have always provided MONMSG with the ability to use a generic pattern (such as CPF9800 or CPF0000) to catch any errors that were not expected.
So, I would just like to better understand what is behind this "requirement."
Thanks in advance.
All the best,
Mark S. Waterbury

Folks:
Does anyone know if there is an API that will return the escape messages
that can be thrown by a command?
I've used JT400 to retrieve the XML definition of a command, but the
escape messages aren't listed there.
I can get the messages if I retrieve the help text, but it's not as
straight forward to parse.
Thanks!
David
