When you set up WinSCP connection there is the ability to use the
"advanced"
button.
In there you can put some commands to run upon connection, one I always put
in there is:
SITE NAMEFMT 0 (that's a zero)
That way when a save file named mysavf.savf gets pushed over it winds up in
a save file as opposed to a table/physical file.
I think it defaults to binary.
