CE drove over from Kalamazoo to there. I had to call the DC to let her in, which is kind of a formal process. She got in, went into our cage, checked the power supplies for amber lights. All was good. She had me clear the WRKPRB, STRSST stuff remotely and had me turn off the system attention light on the system unit. She had spent some time there this weekend dealing with the others there. There was some miscommunication. One, when I got the voice mail alert call ~midnight Saturday night I guess I could have called IBM back and had her look at it then. Two, I thought she was meeting other customers again today and she did have to wait in the parking lot about 10 minutes while I called the data center to have her escorted in.
Now I have a guy going in there tomorrow to replace a disk drive in our EMC Data Domain 2500.
On an unrelated note Wednesday I will have to drive to Indy to replace a few routers. I seem to be going there once a week or so to replace disk drives in an obsolete vmware server we're trying to limp along until we can get it upgraded (new equipment is in, just a technical issue trying to upgrade it's os).
