QSYS2/QSYSROUTINES is a system file that has information about SQL and
external functions and procedures. Have you checked if there are any other
messages besides CPF3777?

Afternoon,

Hi Patrik and Luis

So, having taken both your advice the file that will not save is:

QSYS2/SYSROUTINE

Patrik, I don't have any PTF's installed,

This box was clean installed at V5R4M0, i do not have access to download
the PTF's

Could I do: RSTLICPGM OPTION(01) and give it the relevant install CD?

Although of hand I'm not sure which one that is I would need to work it
out.

Luis do you have any suggestions ?.

Restoring from my last SAV21 is not an option as the tape drive I was
using for that died and is a
different medium

Thanks
Chris

Subject: Re: GO SAVE 21 CPF3777

Morning all,

Thank you for the advice, so far I have narrowed this down to a problem
with the QSYS2 - library one object not saved but I can’t seem to work out
how to determine which object.

chkobjdmg does not seem to be a valid command on V5R4, any idea how I
determine the exact file that is the issue.

Alternatively can someone tell me if it’s Is possible to restore the
entire QSYS2 library from the install CD’s without nuking the box and
starting again.

If so how would I do that.

Thanks
Chris

If I respond G it carried on but says "Error Occurred with this option" at

Any of you more knowledgeable folks got any idea's.
