I have issues with general recommendations like that. Maybe your situation is different. For example perhaps you do not have all tapes immediately available on your VTL and loading each would be too onerous. Perhaps the frequency of your full saves is too far apart. Perhaps your IFS is more volatile than an IFS composed of archived data from past employees.
I had IBM help me set this up.
