I am rather curious as to how this will work. You compile something on your Host 7.3 lpar to x-2 or 7.1. You save it on your 7.3 lpar to tgtrls(V7R1M0). You restore it to your 7.1 lpar. I think when you try to save an object compiled to 7.1 on 7.1 to TGTRLS(*PREV) it will tell you unkind things about your mother.
Or were you leaving compiled objects out of this discussion and just other objects such as files, etc?
