iconv converts the text.

it doesn't know about IFS extended attributes.

To change the CCSID you can use the command setccsid 273
/www/coreihttp/conf/new_httpd.conf

Coded character set ID . . . . . . . . : 819

is IBM-273 not a representation of ccsid 273?
