So, it sounds like you created them in the profile, then saved it.
If you do it that way then you will need to start the partition with the
"start from profile option" to get the LPAR to pick up the new definitions.

You need to dynamically add the virtual adapter to make them immediately
available to the running LPAR.

Definitely no.

If you're using a HMC and the hosting LPAR is running, you can use dynamic
partitioning. This is *only* showing up in HMC when the to-be-modified LPAR
is already running. Then the resources will show up in the hosting LPAR's
DSPHDWRSC.

Don't forget to save the changed partition settings back to the profile,
if Sync is disabled!
