Yes, BRMS has the capability to do incremental saves. Not so sure that it can do it to a save file. I think it would prefer using either virtual optical or virtual tape (not to be confused with a virtual tape library). I've done BRMS saves to virtual tape before then transmitted that to a different machine in a different city then did a DUPMEDBRM to get it to physical tape. But this was long ago before we had VTL's and were still using physical tape media. The place using virtual tape was remote and no one there to do daily physical tape handling to our standards (who wasn't already so busy with other stuff).
