Now this is strange. Maybe endtcpsvr(*telnet) and strtcpsvr(*telnet) in a quiet moment?

Oddly she also has Mocha on her PC, configured to use plain telnet. It can connect and display a sign-on screen via plain telnet.

From my experience, Mocha behaves different in some ways, compared to IBM Emulators and Terminals.
