I have the suspicion, that maybe my Twinax console is not considered as the primary one? The login screen says, that the display is DSP16.
I'm not sure if the numbering is deterministic or arbitrary, given the age and maybe numerous configuration changes since initial rollout.
If I press option 65, I get SRC A6005000, which seems to mean, system console is not found? I am not sure, if that is connected to my problem here.
Q1: Did you see any IPL status messages from IPL on the screen before the signon display appeared?
Q2: Did you do a manual or normal IPL for trying the signon? I remember dimly that the system console login-even-if-profile-is-disabled only works when the IPL mode is set to manual via Panel. Maybe you even don't need to re-ipl but just set the panel to manual mode and try again via terminal.
