The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.
I understand you to say you are not using news.gmane.com, but using
newsgroups directly from lists.midrange.com.
I've tried setting up a new newsgroup account on Thunderbird without
success. Under server settings I have a server name of
lists.midrange.com on port 119 and Security Settings of none.
But when I go to Manage newsgroup subscriptions, the connection times out.
Maybe I'm mis-understanding what you're doing... Any insight appreciated.
