Jerry, we are prepared to do key exchange as well and so far out of all the
vendors we work with only 1 has required key exchange.
I know you are wording it the other way around, that YOU absolutely require
it, however.
We were happy to get password working - much easier to get up and
transferring files for everyone... because we realize that key exchange is
a challenge for some.

this is a pretty nice ftp/sftp engine built using PASE and uses Expect
script for passwords. Overall it has proven to be a pretty good
application.
Just need to consider this... I'm honestly thinking that we simply do not
need to use the STMFCODPAG(*PCASCII) on our cpytoimpf when we move the
file to the IFS.list
