I just re-checked to be sure I was right.  hmmm...  I was not right.

Users can arrow to the field, and mouse to it, but not tab to it.

So I went and looked at Popup Calendar <http://www.martinvt.com/Code_Samples/Pop-up_Calendar/pop-up_calendar.html>

 and found this:

which is the i in column 35, which was mentioned earlier;**
