The HMC doesn't have that visibility. Neither the old nor the new AFAIK.
It goes as far as knowing which vscsi/vfc card is the load source but not
the specific drive.

the one which says "Active - load source". Right clicking on that allows
me to select Properties. From here I see the serial number. Using links
displayed earlier in this thread it's easy to tie this back to the storage
link on the host.
I've not yet found a way to do this using the HMC.

Perhaps I am being sent a sign. Not wishing to ignore such an event how
do I see the tagged I/O on the next guest lpar just to ensure that I don't

I think I got lucky. I swear I varied on the NWSD's when done removing
the storage links, but they are varied off. Varying them on now.
