Why not use multiple listens?

What if you create a new interface for a new HTTP server on the same
port(s) as the other (80, 443)? Now your other server is grabbing that new
interface as well.

Or would you just use virtual hosts in one big config? I imagine that's a
way, but I like to split each server up on it's own IP.

But I do that on my apache configs. My IBM i is on a DMZ network and an
internal network. That allows my web sites to be available on both networks.

PCs.

At least as far as I know. that's why most apache configs show *:80

https://httpd.apache.org/docs/2.4/vhosts/examples.html

You wouldn't want to do that on the IBM i.

The bandaids just keep piling up for good old IBM email. :)

Rob's idea is probably right, but I don't know many who bind to
specific IPs for much more than HTTP servers. And even then the
apache configs are usually copied from the web from systems that use *
for IP address instead of a specific one because most other systems
don't have the ability to run multiple IP interfaces on one NIC.
