The bandaids just keep piling up for good old IBM email. :)

Rob's idea is probably right, but I don't know many who bind to
specific IPs for much more than HTTP servers. And even then the
apache configs are usually copied from the web from systems that use *
for IP address instead of a specific one because most other systems
don't have the ability to run multiple IP interfaces on one NIC.
