And what if your company (us) quit using MS Office years ago, opting for
Google Drive instead? I'm sure there's no option for that. :)

We do use Libre Office a bit. I'll have to try that later.

Hi Guys,

Can anyone recommend a tool that outputs direct to excel. I'm thinking of
an equivalent of CPYTOIMPF but direct as .xls / .xlsx rather than .csv

I am also interested in the converse operation - think CPYFRMIMPF but from
.xls / .xlsx rather than .csv

I know there are many tools out there but I'm not aware of all of them and
some are astonishingly expensive

NB - This is not about converting spool files to excel - we are talking
physical files
