We wrote our own process to do that. We wanted to offload user jobs running AS/400 Queries to our backup system and keep the load off of the production system. We wrote it a good 10-15 years ago; it's a set-it-and-forget-it kind of thing. IIRC, it involved setting up the user menu to submit a query so that it used a special routing entry. The routing program intercepted the user request (by reading the joblog), sent it across to our 2nd system, where it ran as the user. Any printouts from the job were routed back to the production system using the Broderick utility program (which we've had since long before IBM had a similar utility).
