Re: FTP time-out with directories over 1000 files

They have to do a DIR to get the file names to download.

It times out long before the 300 second default, and it doesn't actually
lose the connection, it just gives up retrieving the directory.

1) Why are they performing an ls or dir on such a crowded forder? I think
it's no easy to find something that way

FileZilla and others.

I don’t see a timeout setting on the server.
