I agree. I'm definitely both a Linux fan and an i fan. I've been using
Linux on my home PCs since the 1.x kernel days. However, while letting i be
i, it doesn't hurt to also let i make Linux folks feel right at home. I've
been trying out some of the packages IBM has in their yum/rpm package
repository. There are some things that aren't available there yet that I've
had to build from source, like vim, GNU screen, and a man page viewer. The
rpm packages have been a welcomed addition. Hopefully the list of available
packages will continue to grow.
