Here's the one drawback to 'ssh into the HMC.':
Normally this involves loading up a putty client. No big deal for most of
us, especially those in the systems admin class of people who need to do
this stuff. However, I have this coworker... He's more of a systems
analyst with some development. He helps me out during downtimes. Covers
a shift or so. (My instructions are extremely detailed.) This coworker
uses a virtual desktop instead of his own PC or laptop. The VDI group he
is in does not come with a putty client. This is where getting to it with
a web browser helps.
Now, if there's a standard client which comes with Windows 10 instead of
having to download a putty client, I'm all ears.
The paperwork with getting a new VDI group just so this guy can have a
putty client is to the point that I want to work with them if I could
instead of just bulling my way.
