Here's the one drawback to 'ssh into the HMC.':
Normally this involves loading up a putty client. No big deal for
especially those in the systems admin class of people who need to dothis
stuff. However, I have this coworker... He's more of a systemsanalyst with
some development. He helps me out during downtimes. Covers a shiftor
so. (My instructions are extremely detailed.) This coworker uses avirtual
desktop instead of his own PC or laptop. The VDI group he is in doesnot
come with a putty client. This is where getting to it with a webbrowser
helps.of
Now, if there's a standard client which comes with Windows 10 instead
having to download a putty client, I'm all ears.putty
The paperwork with getting a new VDI group just so this guy can have a
client is to the point that I want to work with them if I couldinstead of just
bulling my way.Mail

ssh into the HMC.
vtterm
start console. You are the console at that point from the HMC, so
IP address to your heart's content.and
how is that hard? I never use the console window through the HMC GUI.
Aside from it being awful, half the time it does not work.
The browsers are just going to get in the way.

I thought that you used to be able to go to https://yourhmc and open

Ok, if I use IE I can get it to work. I just have to answer the pop

I must have something configured wrong in Chrome. If anyone can

Same issue with Edge.
Same issue with FF.
