I'm pretty sure that's what I had to do when I did 7.1->7.3.

Have you opened a PMR with IBM and sent them the *Admin collector data yet? Seriously they would have it going a week ago!

Host table doesn't have an entry for the local machine (other than
localhost). DNS, however, resolves correctly.

I tried adding an entry for the machine but it failed the same way.
