I ended up using the IFS API's. Instead of CPYFRMSTMF, I just read the text file and write to the PF manually.

One way to do it will be to copy without any translation and after use one of the translation tables supplied with the system, or build your own and translate as you like.

To get a list you can:  WRKOBJ OBJ(QSYS/*ALL) OBJTYPE(*TBL)
