I just noticed the command specs *SAVF, while the messages say *IMAGE. Is that a copy-and-paste error?

You know how the list had a debate on whether or not it was good to remove messages from the joblog?
For example, if I do a CRTPF MYLIB/MYFILE RCDLEN(50) and do a MONMSG on it that it already exists I will clear the message.
Others find that the root of all evil. While I am hoping it was because they misinterpreted me and thought I did a generic MONMSG CPF0000 at the top I'm not so sure.
I suspect you're seeing code based on that philosophy. Or just plain laziness.

I finally got a good SF99730 download, but I'm concerned with the various error messages above.

Any thoughts on the group?
