Rob,

Working fine on my V7R3 LPAR.
IBM CE called within 10 minutes, confirming they got the test service request.

Still a whacked out mess.

After running
VFYSRVCFG SERVICE(*ECS) VFYOPT(*ALL)

I run
SNDSRVRQS ACTION(*TEST)
Point-to-point profile QVPN01IBM1 in use.
Job locked MUTEX +QTOCPTP/SPACE+ previously (tocSyncObj:274).
Error occurred while processing request.

Even after I sign off/on again.

Rob,

I opened a PMR with IBM.
Service Agent fixed for V7R3.
VFYSRVCFG working.

Here is the link to the document that discusses the change made to ESA to
use the EDGE server at 7.3:
http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=nas8N1018980

I needed to clear '/QIBM/UserData/OS400/UniversalConnection/*' (prior
V7R3 info residing)
Apply below PTFs. (not all published, nor part of CUM and/or group.
Recommended PTFs

SI66506
SI62445
SI62179

SI66174
SI61128
SI64488

Then delete and re-create the service agent.

VFYSRVCFG SERVICE(*ECS) VFYOPT(*ALL)

Since V7R3 I no longer use VFYSRVCFG. It actually was corrupting service
config. If you care to fight that battle, good luck.

I will forware you offlist an attachment which covers my quarterly testing
of service.
