And, to plug the plug: Just used it to get latest PTF's for my 7.2 partition and it worked like a champ (as it has for years...) Easiest way to get the PTF's into an image catalog ready to apply....(IMHO)

I guess the old FTP to a directory is just to easy and less error prone than SNDPTFORD, so that's why folks won't use it. Yes you have to use Fix Central to order, but if you really want to you can save the order and just repeat it periodically. Takes about 4 minutes a quarter.

You can script the FTP almost as easy as the SNDPTFORD with the one manual step to enter the download information( which could also be automated with a bunch of tools). Yep, FTP fails every now and then, but no less than SNDPTFORD since 90% of the time it's a WAN problem that causes it.

Searching, I found SI60609 is needed to resolve the issue.

Loaded and applied SI60609.
Resolved the CPC8C10 issue.

Now having other errors.
Downloads failing after 90+% downloaded.

I followed my notes from IBM for fixing service agent, which resolved similar errors in the past.

I finally got a good SF99730 download, but I'm concerned with the various error messages above.

Any thoughts on the group?
