Roy,

Held spooled files will not print. Are you sure it's not entering the
output queue in RDY status and then being held/saved after it prints?
Because if you have held spooled files printing, I'd get on the horn with
IBM.

Another way to guarantee it wouldn't print is put it in an output queue
that is not attached to a printer.

Using the CHGPRTF command is there a parameter or multiple parameters that
can be set to prevent a spool file from printing?



Currently the spool file in question is on Hold and Saved. However the
file
prints at the completion of the job and upon availability of the print que.

What I want to do is stop the file from printing.
