Yes, and this is what stops a lot from looking for a quick easy "non
learning" solution. When they can't provide, management moves off the
platform. Seen it many times.
Although, normally the swap to a new platform takes 10x longer than
expected and retirement is later rather than sooner.
They were happy to see Domino depart to O365, because 'email is a pain'.
Not to sound like a broken record, but it doesn't have to be.
Every customer I help set up their email with Office 365 or Gmail, etc are
happy campers. I know because I don't hear from them until they replace
hardware. And only then it's because they realize the license was tied to
the serial number.
Software you forget about is good. Most of the time. :)
