Thanks Justin,
Yes this system also goes out of support in 2019.
We have 8 drives but 2 are a mirrored pair in ASP02 used for backups only.
Problem we have is now and any interim solution or improvement that can
get us through to mid 2018 is what we are looking for.
Cheers
Don Brown

We have an 8202-E4B and it goes out of hardware support in 2019. That's
something to think about before putting too much effort into improving
your existing hardware.
Of course, our system has 8 drives, while yours only has 6. I guess it
could be a different 8202-E4B, which might not be going off support.

Don,
1) What feature disk controller are you currently using?
2) Do you have a BP, I'm sure they could locate SSD drives.
3) Did you consider attaching a EXP24S for additional drives?
4) The SSD option will give you 4x the performance, switching from RAID6
to RAID5 will be slight.
5)Also, for future planning - BM announces end of service dates (no more
maintenance) for various Power 6 and Power 7 platforms.
