Re: New ACS - Slow Startup & Loses Settings

I mentioned the IFS because I have experienced slow performance with ACS
located there.
Your install is on a windows share. Ours is too, and it takes me usually
not longer than a few seconds to open the application.
However, that all depends also on bandwidth of course.

Another guess: If you have a network ACS deployment, ACS will will cache
the product files to your local pc and refresh them when there is a product
update.
Can it be that your cache is emptied by Windows policies everytime that you
shutdown your pc? And so reload the complete product everytime you start it?

It's on a windows server. It's where our Documents drive gets mapped so
it's always backed up.

Do most install on their C drive?
