Re: IBM i native web survey package

I wrote one for my website a while ago. I didn't create an interface to
enter a new survey/questions yet, so that's all done via UPDDTA.

Here's an example. Notice you can click on the link to go through the
survey and also click the other to view the results.

For sure it could be cleaned up and made a nicer interface, but this was 10
years ago. :) I haven't touched it since.

It uses the eRPG SDK but it wouldn't be that hard to change it to use
CGIDEV2 if you wanted something "free". :)

One other comment. 5722-BZ1 has been around for quite some time (Hint:
5722-xxx) I doubt Version one is an issue here.

Does anyone know of a web survey package that runs native on IBM i?
Something like Qualtrics or SurveyMonkey but just needs to do the response
collection and not all the reporting these other tools do. We need
something that could load the list of survey recipients from a DB2 table,
send an email with a link to the survey, collect responses and store in
DB2, send follow up emails to non-responders after a period of time.

I found this from IBM https://www.ibm.com/support/
knowledgecenter/en/ssw_i5_54/rzau5/surv.htm but a little concerned about
verion 1.0
