Is it possible to run the upgrade from an external drive?
I have a 2TB drive that I would like to put the .ISO images on and then run the upgrades. We are at V7R7.2.0.3 and need to get to at least V8R8.40.2
Finally got the Power 5 system off of our network and want to add the new Power 8 to our HMC. When all is said and done, I will have 2 systems, one i5OS partition each, a Power 7 and a Power 8 frame.
Also anyone have a link to power system firmware to HMC version handy?
