You're spot on about DCM rejecting it. I opened a ticket with IBM to
determine if there's any way to make my existing request file work.
Thanks for the feedback. It's nice to get a confirmation. Please report
back if your CA certificate makes a difference to your web-service clients.
Maybe they are using a wrapper around the same API used by Internet
Explorer. Maybe the API requires a CA signed certificate. However, that has
not been the case with other web-service clients that I've dealt with. In
my experience, trading partners can exchange self-signed certificates,
import them into their respective digital certificate managers, and
exchange messages over HTTPS.
