Node can do webserving on its own, but Express does webserving with many
additional features.

I wanted to expound on this a little further. You can't use Express on IBM
i without first having the Node.js distribution from IBM; specifically the
included V8 Javascript runtime. With that said, I believe Express requires
the base Node.js http features to exist.

Or said another way; Node.js is the foundation of all other Javascript npms
on IBM i. A list of available npms can be found here: http://npmjs.com

The relationship between V8, Node.js, and other modules was initially
confusing to me so that's why I am expounding in hopes to help others.

Those are complimentary items.

AngularJS is a front-end framework for doing the client-side of web apps.
Node.js is for back-end processing.
ExpressJS is an optional Node component. Node can do webserving on its

John,

Curious why you have ExpressJS, AngularJS, and Node.js

Do they all work differently, is one better than the other?
