Thanks to all that replied for your valuable insight. I don't have a
specific need or application in mind. Rather I'm trying to 'catch up' to
current day technology. I've still got another 20 years in me and can't
see straight RPG/COBOL/SQL as being good enough any more. I need to really
study all that's been said and lay out a plan. Thanks again to all of
you. This list (and all that contribute to it) are one of the greatest
assets to our platform.

Thank you all once again. You've given me much to ponder. Have a great
