My take on your initial post was that you missed the meat of the discussion which I thought was about why you can't use TLS/SSL with MSF to relay.

It's not an option so there have to be other choices selected to help with secure mail relaying.

I'm not sure there's much of a compare/contrast approach on this discussion other than MSF old and MSF not a good way for long term mail relaying so users must select workaround options as they go forward.

That kind of hurts. If I've earned a reputation for arguing, I hope my points are viewed as arguing respectfully. I debated myself about quoting "benefits", which was intended to suggest my having doubts, which I do. But I admit that scanning for outbound viruses is a point worth considering.
